Well, standing out from the crowd a different shape a different cloud, oh how happy life could be. With ego’s the size of cathedral’s & inner sanctums rustled by this featherless bird flying somewhere so different that if God could speak the sounds would transcend all weak minds from illusion.
Open up the doors the TRAMPS are up from the floor & rolling on this ride that takes it’s wind from the inside & scatters it for all to see. With the wild HORSES trapped in their cage a madman runs through the street without a care for his down trodden rage, Absolute & innocent starry eyed & burnt out, it’s a life of cats eyes too young & afraid to die but at least we tried, finding out feet in a labyrinth so deep that even Satan’s marketing guru is up shit creek.
What once was is not now and what is now, will one day be free or at least ALIVE IN THE COTTAGE as desolate dreams meet icy streams somewhere.....
Live Demo Album Review {Recorded Nov 2007}
'.. sometimes they're an Anglicised version of the intense American gothic of Murder By Death, like on 'Solo Man', a cross between Nick Cave and Black Francis, or 'River Rising' with it's sense of impending doom: "The river keeps on rising, this fear, this rage / The river keeps on rising, I guess I'm gonna stay". At other times T&H are delicate and easy on the ear, such as the classic rockisms of the Scullion led 'Fast Flying Plane', which fills the gap in the lineage between The Byrds and Fleet Foxes... some of the best edgy folk around. A Golden Tapestry indeed.'

BBC Introducing Performance Review {Student Union March 2009}
'..MMU's wonderfully titled Mancester’s Union bar is a difficult venue play in. After all, it can be hard to get the atmosphere going when your adoring fans are also eating a reasonably priced lasagne whilst you play....... ..Opening act Tramps & Horses just about managed it with a edgy and effortlessly cool folk performance, sounding and looking like the sexier, younger siblings of The Beautiful South....... ..Manchester's folk scene at the moment is fantastic and it is acts like T&H who are leading it with genuinely intelligent song writing and make-your-head-nod bass lines. Vincent Taylor & Deidre Scullion's shared vocals need to be kept in check – tonight they are at times mesmerising and at others off-beat - but they are definitely worth another look....'

Tramps & Horses have had a turbulent ride, with line up changes galore and genre musical chairs. Despite this they managed to record a live demo album in an old cottage in middle of Wales late in 2007 to showcase some early sounds. Since then, now with a stable line up they have entered into a great musical period with the shunting of crap gigs in order to practice and perfect new material.
At last we wait in anticipation for their new Mantra Rock E.P. showcasing four new songs from their eventual full studio album. With their live shows one to watch out for, the public now has a chance to hear them in full stereo, at last the Tramps are back. Pre Order your copy now. E.P. Release date 1st Sept 2009
